Energy consultancy Xodus has appointed a new field development director for Asia-Pacific (APAC) as the company targets strategic growth and new projects in the region.
David Kennare joins Xodus from Peritus where he was managing director for the company’s operations in Houston, London, Kuala Lumpur and Perth.
Kennare’s consulting experience includes facilities development from technical feasibility reviews through FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and operation of oil & gas processes both onshore and offshore.
A Fellow of IChemE, he also has specialised experience in planning and execution of assess and select phase work for oil and gas development opportunities.
“I’ve long admired the work of Xodus and I’m proud to be joining the company,” Kennare said. “It is an exciting time in the APAC region with a range of new developments in the pipeline. I look forward to using my experience, knowledge and expertise to deliver a range of new early stage work for the company.”
Earlier this year, the company announced it had grown its team in Perth by almost 50% after a batch of new contract wins in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The strong start to the year has led to the creation of new jobs with the company expecting several more additions by the end of the year.
