Vår Energi Pipe and Subsea Portfolio Passes PSA Probe

Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway has carried out an audit of Vår Energi and its pipe and subsea portfolio on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The audit, from October this year, included inspection of Vår Energi and its portfolio of pipelines, risers, control cables and subsea facilities on the NCS.

The objective of the audit was to monitor how Vår Energi follows up and ensures the integrity of pipelines, risers, control cables and seabed facilities, including any challenges linked to barriers, condition monitoring and operation during their lifetime.

The PSA investigated how the subsea barriers are managed and how operation of the pipeline system and subsea facilities is followed up and monitored.

According to PSA, no non-conformities or improvement points were observed during the audit.
