Cornwall-based marine recruitment specialist UTM Consultants has appointed William Best as a new business manager.
The appointment follows the recent opening of a new office in Bristol where he will be based.
Best will head up the ROV, Autonomous Vehicles & Inspection business line of UTM Consultants.
Best established the ROV business unit of Atlas Professionals in 2013, as a new entrant into a global market. Less than three years from inception that ROV business developed into what is now widely considered to be one of the market leaders.
Alex Meeks, operations director of UTM Consultants, said: “Our rapid growth has required us to take a more focussed commercial approach over the past 12 months. We are looking to expand our service offering in the UK with the opening of our ROV, Autonomous Vehicles and Inspection business line in Bristol, while actively targeting other markets where we see huge growth potential.”
