US-based companies Berger Geosciences and Integral Consulting have partnered with French company Akrocean to deliver a full range of solutions for site characterization for the US offshore renewable energy market.
The consortium has a single flag named BIA Offshore Studies and gathers expertise and experience of each of its partners in the domains of meteorology, oceanology, geology, archaeology, and biology.
Craig Jones, principal at Integral Consulting, said: “BIA Offshore leverages the extensive experience of our team in the marine environment and will bring collaborative teams together efficiently to find efficient paths to lower LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy).”
Bill Berger III, CEO at Berger Geosciences, added: “This smart alliance will take advantage of B-geO’s experience in Oil & Gas marine sciences with proven results for high level requirements from industry standards and government regulations that can be adapted to the renewable energy market.”
Akrocean, the French floating Lidar supplier is joining the group with its floating monitoring station.
