Royal Niestern Sander and Geo Plus have signed a contract for the construction of a hydrographic survey vessel, ‘Geo Ranger’.
This ship, yard number 864, has been designed together with Conoship International.
The Geo Ranger will be rented by the client from spring 2020 to parties conducting research, such as dredging companies and companies that build and maintain offshore wind farms, Niestern Sander noted.
The hydrographic survey vessel will be built under the supervision of Lloyd’s Register.
The Geo Ranger hydrographic vessel will be 41,00 meters long, with a beam of 8,70 meters. It will be able to accommodate 21 people onboard.
