Magseis Fairfield Participates in New Multi-Client Project

Magseis Fairfield has entered into an agreement with an unnamed multi-client company to participate in a multi-client project, expected to start late in the first quarter of 2020.

This is the first phase of a multi-year campaign which will bring industry leading nodal acquisition and data processing to re-image a mature basin. The project has been developed in close collaboration with the industry and have secured good industry funding,” said Carel Hooijkaas, CEO of Magseis Fairfield.

By combining node technology and efficient handling and deployment systems, Magseis Fairfield tailor safe and cost-efficient multi-client acquisition programs to deliver best possible data quality.

“Multi-client projects diversify our revenue stream and complements our node lease, sale and proprietary data acquisition businesses. With our capabilities and asset-light setup, we should be well positioned to participate in the right projects and create value for the parties involved,” Carel Hooijkaas added.

The company did not disclose the location of the project, nor the value of the contract.
