Leask Marine Wraps Up Subsea Campaigns

Leask Marine has recently carried out subsea work scopes in two offshore industry sectors.

Namely, its dive team completed an in-water survey for ABS for Prosafe’s Safe Caledonia Rig in preparation for its departure from Scapa Flow to perform an underwater inspection in lieu of dry-docking (UWILD) inspection of the self-propelled accommodation/service vessel.

While the Safe Caledonia was preparing for departure the Leask Marine diving team assisted with a range of underwater routine maintenance projects including thruster cleaning and replacement of lifeboat underwater guide wires.

Leask Marine’s vessel the C-Fenna also recently completed a range of supporting activities for ABCO Marine for ScottishPower Renewables East Anglia ONE Offshore Wind Farm.

These activities included laying concrete mattresses on the seabed, placing rock bags on the seabed, and supporting the Fugro 1200 jackup drilling unit with anchor handling and tug operations.
