Glomar Offshore has purchased two subsea support vessels, the Bourbon Arethuse and Bourbon Amilcar.
The vessels will be renamed Glomar Worker and Glomar Supporter, respectively.
After modifications and upgrades in the Globaltic Marine yard in Gdynia, Poland, the vessels will be ready to serve Glomar’s oil and gas and renewables clients in the North Sea and Baltic.
In addition, Glomar informed that upgrades on recently acquired Minkar, Situla and Shaula (ex Halul 10, 11 and 12) are proceeding and the vessels are expected to be ready to trade by Q3, 2019.
“We would like to thank both previous owners, Bourbon Offshore and Halul Offshore Services, as well as our brokers, Grieg Shipbrokers, for facilitating both transactions successfully,” Glomar said.
