FairfieldNodal Becomes Fairfield Geo | Subsea World News

FairfieldNodal has changed its name to Fairfield Geotechnologies (Fairfield Geo) to reflect the company’s strategy and evolution as a provider of life-of-field technology, data and solutions.

FairfieldNodal is a provider of ocean bottom nodal (OBN) technology and related services and data to oil companies and independent operators.

Fairfield Geotechnologies has embarked on a program to grow its capabilities through M&A and strategic partnerships, the company said.

“The recent acquisitions of WGP and the US multi-client data library from Geokinetics, and the strategic partnerships with Schlumberger, Ikon Sciences and others reflect Fairfield Geo’s strategy to expand beyond its roots as a provider of nodal data acquisition services,” said Chuck Davison, CEO of Fairfield Geotechnologies. “Fairfield Geo is uniquely positioned as a leader in the US multi-client business and we continue to aggressively grow our multi-client and life-of-field services in the US and internationally through targeted acquisitions and organic investments.”
