New stats from the Scottish Government show an estimated 73.7million tonnes of oil equivalent were produced in the country’s waters.
That is a 1.7% drop on the previous year, but higher oil prices boosted sales.
The sales value is up by £2.5billion from £17.5bn in 2016-17.
Scotland accounted for 81% of the overall UK total, down from 82% the previous year.
Operating expenditure on oil and gas production in Scotland increased to £6.2billion, up from £5.3billion in 2016-17.
