Decom North Sea has announced award finalists ahead of this year’s Decom Offshore conference/exhibition and Decom Awards.
The 2nd annual Decom Awards will showcase decommissioning excellence in innovation and collaboration, whilst highlighting the young professionals of the industry who have demonstrated significant capability and impact in their sector.
The finalists are: Outstanding Innovation Award – Deep Casing Tools, Ecosse IP and Sentinel Subsea; Excellence in Collaboration category – Systems Engineering & Assessment (SEA) and Spirit Energy, Ardent and The Oil and Gas Technology Centre, and Spirit Energy and The Oil and Gas Technology Centre.
The three finalists in the Young Professionals category are: David Hoang, Graduate Project Engineer Bilfinger Salamis; Johnny Morton, Technical Support Engineer, Bilfinger Salamis, and Rebecca Allan, Decommissioning Lead, Xodus Group.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and dinner at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre on Tuesday May 28, hosted by Andrea Brymer.
