DCN Set for Middle East Job

DCN Diving, the Dutch subsea service specialist based in Bergen op Zoom, said it is currently mobilising on the dive support vessel (DSV) Normand Baltic in Port Rashid, Dubai.

The DP2 DSV, which has been on a long-term charter with DCN for subsea duties offshore Middle East and Asia, is set to sail to Fujairah, UAE.

The 96-meter Normand Baltic is fitted with a 100-ton heave compensated crane, mobilised with a 9-man classed saturation diving system and twin LARS air diving system.

Using its IMCA-compliant saturation and air diving systems the DCN project team will complete an SBM subsea hose change out on one of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Fujairah Terminal SBM’s.

Work is scheduled to start later this week, DNC said on its social media.
