The Briggs Group has acquired a consortia of three marine companies in Canada.
The companies namely Foreshore Technologies, Balanced Environmental and Ocean Tech are based in North Vancouver, British Columbia and have been trading for 25 years.
Foreshore Technologies specializes in diving, environmental survey, structural survey and marine operations.
Balanced Environmental Services are experts in permitting, licencing, consultation, applications, planning and project delivery.
Ocean Tech Constructors is a harbour support company that specialize in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of floats, gangways, pontoons and breakwaters.
Craig English, operations director of Subsea Services at Briggs said: “We are excited by the purchase of the Foreshore Group of companies as their understanding, knowledge, skill, passion and commitment to their clients are traits that align closely with our own. We look forward to working beside our Canadian colleagues in growing this well-established business and continuing Briggs’ maritime adventure into the next phase.”
